Privacy principles

Early-stage notice: Centivive is currently in private beta development. This page describes the intended product privacy principles and will be replaced by a formal privacy policy before public launch.

Health data access

Centivive is being designed so health data is accessed only after explicit user authorization. Connected data sources should be clearly identified and revocable by the user.

Purpose limitation

Health data should be used only to provide and improve the Centivive product experience, including health-data normalization, trend analysis and personalized guidance.

Data provenance

Centivive is being built to preserve the source and method of health measurements so clinical measurements, wearable estimates and self-reported information are not treated as interchangeable.

No advertising-data model

Centivive is not being designed around selling personal health data to advertisers.

Security

For cloud integrations such as Garmin Connect, OAuth credentials and access tokens are intended to be stored server-side and never exposed in browser code.

Disconnect and deletion

Connected-account workflows are intended to include clear disconnect functionality and data-deletion handling consistent with applicable platform and legal requirements.
